Expert Continuity in an Evolving Field
Bridging the talent gap with decades of specialized neuroimaging experience.
Our Story: Why MRGo?
The most significant bottleneck in modern neuroimaging isn't the hardware—it’s the human capital. Finding, training, and retaining expert-level imaging scientists is a hurdle that can delay critical research by months or years.
MRGo was founded to eliminate that bottleneck. We provide the high-level technical oversight of a veteran Staff Scientist with the flexibility of a dedicated partner. We don’t just offer a service; we offer the continuity and deep-domain expertise required to move a project from a bold hypothesis to a published discovery.
The MRGo Advantage
Veteran Insight: With decades of experience in the imaging trenches, we bring a level of pattern recognition that only comes from processing thousands of brains across diverse clinical and research cohorts.
Comparative Neuroimaging Expertise: We bring a deep understanding of neuroanatomy and sequence optimization across species, providing seamless analytical support for both human clinical trials and preclinical animal studies.
Zero Onboarding: Skip the recruitment cycle. We integrate into your lab’s workflow, bringing seasoned scrutiny to your data from day one.
Scientific Stewardship: We see ourselves as stewards of your data. We don't just run black-box pipelines; we understand the underlying physics and the biological implications of every analytical choice.
Our Leadership
Timothy R. Koscik, PhD
Principal Consultant & Founder
Dr. Koscik is a neuroscientist and imaging specialist with over two decades of experience in the design, execution, and analysis of complex brain imaging studies. Throughout his career, he has served as a Director of a major University Neuroimage Processing Core, where he architected data pipelines and established technical standards for high-throughput, multi-modal research across diverse clinical and research cohorts.
As an active researcher and Associate Professor, Dr. Koscik remains at the forefront of neuroimaging innovation. His expertise spans the development of ultra-high-resolution MRI methods to map cortical architecture, as well as the creation of specialized software tools for data harmonization and file management.
Dr. Koscik has served as a Technical Lead and Co-Investigator on several federal and foundation-funded grants, ensuring methodological rigor and publication-quality results for high-stakes scientific inquiries. He founded MRGo to offer labs direct access to this veteran "staff scientist" expertise, providing a bridge between raw data and defensible discovery.
